Proving Suzanne wrong

People in Singapore are really friendly. Everytime i come up in the elevator with someone new they always ask me where i'm from. Today, a woman went straight to the point and said:

"You from L.A.?"

This clearly disproves Suzanne that thinks i have a Jersey accent... ;-)

Little Green Men: You have clearance to land

LAJAS, Puerto Rico (AP)

People in this sleepy hamlet are so sure they have been receiving other-worldly visitors, they want to build a UFO landing strip to welcome them.

A bright green sign along a lonely country road in southwestern Puerto Rico proudly displays a silhouette of a flying saucer and two words: "Extraterrestrial Route."....

THE Duck Joke

Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: don't step on the ducks!"

So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one.

Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw.St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!"

The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing. With him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.

The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps. She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on .... very tall, long eyelashes, muscular, and thin.St. Peter chains them together without saying a word.

The happy woman says, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"

The guy says, "I don't know about you, but I stepped on a duck!"

Man Utd vs Benfica... early in the morning...

It's 2.35 am here in Singapore. In our evening "gowns", myself and Pita have just sat on the large living room couch with the TV on... BENFICA is playing Manchester United.

This is what being a fan is all about!! ;-)

International UN Hat Day?

That's what we called it and thus we put on our cultural sense of style and strolled in East Coast Park much to the surprise of the locals.

Myself ("Quirkistan"), Pita ("Kazakistan") and Alfy ("Vietnam").

Pool Party

In Singapore everyone has a pool. It's not a huge deal like in Europe so pool parties are quite common.

Here is the beer gang chilling out:
Justin, Pita, myself and Brad.

Mafia Night

Nothing brings a crowd together like a good game of Mafia followed by non-stop non-sense :))

Soccer 11: Portuguese & Romanians

I started playing soccer 11. It's not a walk in the park compared to our usual 5 on 5 games.

Here's a picture from a funny group who shares a brief passing in Rotterdam, The Netherlands: The Portuguese (Pedro & Pedro) and the Romanians (Attila & Albert).

The most beautiful sunset

A great picture of the most beautiful sunset with the most beautiful girl ;-)

The Rawa Trip

Rawa is a small island of the coast of Malaysia. It's a brochure paradise. Palm trees, white sand, hammock, volleyball net, snorkling... an amazing weekend!

Here you see the entire weekend gang (most DHL trainees), the sand boat Melissa, Nicoline, trainee in Malaysia and myself built and the best picture of the weekend: Andy & Pixie, "Reflection in the rain"

A little bit of home...

I found a little bit of home, at of all places... in CHINATOWN!!

Been out...

... of the blog zone!

So much is happening around these parts that i lost track of blogs, including yours and my own. I'm catching up on you and me today ;-)
